The role of the sex therapist is to find the origin of a sexual disorder, to treat it, but also to prevent it. He also has an educational role regarding sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Most people who see a sex therapist come individually. However, the sex therapist can work in an equally beneficial way in the presence of the couple. They remind us that sexuality problems are for the most part a couple’s business.
