Programming Manager (Radio, TV)
Person who plans and coordinates the programming of a radio or television station and who administers its budget. She chooses the programs to be broadcast, ensures that their content and style comply with established quality standards, and makes the programming taking into account the budget, the vocation of the network, current projects and market studies ( audience preferences, ratings, peak times, etc.). She must also negotiate the purchase of films or various programs with independent producers and contracts with sponsors, arrange for the broadcast of live reports and supervise presentation, editorial and production staff.
