Researcher (Radio, TV)

Person who researches and ensures the selection and preparation of data and documents necessary for the development of the content of a radio or television program, a film, a play, a book, a multimedia product, etc. She conducts interviews with specialists on the subjects in question and consults, with a view to gathering information, printed or audiovisual documents, databases, image or sound banks, etc. She sometimes has to take certain steps to acquire documents or verify the rights protecting certain works so that user agreements can be made. She is also called upon to prepare research summaries or to contact people with a view to their participation in a television or radio program.
