Agroeconomist

Person who, as a specialist in the agro-food economy and development in rural areas, studies, under their economic aspect, the agricultural and agro-food problems linked to the production, processing and marketing of farm products. His qualifications allow him to act as an advisor in financing, management, marketing, economics, agronomy, regional or international development or to analyze the evolution of agricultural markets. She is therefore able to advise farm business owners on the planning, financing and management of their operations. She can analyze the financing files submitted by farm business owners to lending organizations or even design and administer government programs for the agri-food sector (agricultural credit, agricultural insurance, etc.). She also has the opportunity to participate in development projects in third world countries.
