Aquatic Life Biologist
Person who, as a specialist in biology, studies the life of aquatic plants and animals, including the relationships between these organisms and their environment as well as the functioning of aquatic ecosystems. It carries out observations and experiments with a view to inventorying aquatic organisms, protecting their diversity, controlling the development of aquatic populations or discovering what applications the discoveries on the phenomena of aquatic life can have in different fields: fishing, aquaculture, food, pharmacology, ecology, ecotourism, etc. It can also take care of culture or breeding in an aquaculture establishment, an aquarium or a research institute, or provide consulting services within the framework of projects relating to the exploitation or the protection of fauna. and aquatic flora or the dissemination of scientific knowledge in its field.
