Bacteriologist

Person who, as a specialist in microbiology, studies bacteria and other unicellular organisms, in order to determine their nature as well as their characteristics and to evaluate their harmful or beneficial character for the human, plant or animal environment. She begins by identifying the bacteria, then she classifies them, isolates them, makes them cultures, carries out chemical and biological analyzes and observes their behavior in order to be able to control their development, that is to say to eliminate or eliminate them. Use, where appropriate, in areas such as health, medicine, food, agriculture and industry. She supervises the work of the technical staff during the experiments and reports on the results of her research through articles and scientific communications on the aspects studied. She also participates in scientific congresses.
