Electrical Mechanic of household appliances

Person who repairs household appliances at home or in a workshop. She may specialize in repairing large appliances (washers, dryers, stoves and refrigerators) or portable appliances (toasters, fans, vacuums, etc.). Among other things, she must accurately determine the nature of the defects, estimate the cost of repairs, replace defective components and check and adjust devices to ensure that they are functioning properly. She also writes reports on work performed, does invoices and maintains the inventory of parts so that all the ones she needs are always available.
