Fire Safety Manager
Someone who supervises the activities of a fire safety service, a fire station or a fire safety intervention team. She takes care of the management of the human and material resources of her department, she draws up response plans, policies and procedures relating to the operation of a fire department and she organizes safety and prevention campaigns. On the scene of a fire, she directs the intervention of the firefighters and ensures the application of safety measures. She is often responsible for representing the service in its dealings with government, the media and the public.
