Interpreter of the Natural and Biological Environment
Person who develops natural sites (paths, lookouts, etc.) and prepares educational or recreational activities for the general public or target groups in order to help them understand and appreciate the richness of the natural heritage. She develops and presents interpretation programs (brochures, exhibitions, guided excursions, demonstrations, shows, etc.), participates in the promotion of heritage interpretation activities, gives scientific or historical explanations on the environment, species and vegetation observed, ensures the integrity and security of the collections in the environment visited and ensures compliance with security regulations. She may also be called upon to compile and interpret the data collected on visitors and to write summary reports.
