Pilot officer

Person who, as a member of the armed forces, flies various types of aircraft (helicopters, personnel carriers or equipment transporters, combat aircraft) during military surveillance, protection or intervention missions. It uses various navigation and communication systems, participates in the selection, design, development and testing of new aircraft, collaborates in the development of strategic and tactical plans as well as in the establishment of training standards and methods, operates weapon and fire control systems, participates in search and rescue missions. It also exercises command, administration and training functions.
