Self-service Station Cashier

Person who, at a self-service station, monitors and operates gasoline pumps, collects and records payments for gasoline and other products sold in the establishment. She starts the pumps remotely, offers customers related products such as oil or windshield washer fluid, provides information on current promotions, places merchandise on shelves and in refrigerated counters, receives orders and takes inventory of certain items. At the agreed times, she compiles the entries recorded on the electronic cash register. She must enforce the safety rules around the distribution area.
