Applied Ecology Technician

Person who performs various technical tasks in the field and in the laboratory as part of research on animal and plant species and in order to improve the development of natural environments. She takes an inventory of animal and plant populations in a given environment, collects soil and plant specimens, performs biological tests and cultures in the laboratory, participates in their analysis and records the results. She can also participate in developments relating to fauna, flora, watercourses and ecological trails and inform the public about the functioning of ecosystems and the biology specific to each species.
