Construction Inspector (Public Works)
Person who inspects the construction of roads, tunnels, bridges and other public works to verify their compliance with contracts, plans and specifications as well as government regulations. She must verify that the structures are in the right place, that their measurements are correct, that the excavation and earthworks have been correctly carried out, that the materials and products used have the required resistance and that the coatings are of good quality. If she finds that the work does not comply with the requirements, she orders it to be stopped, demands the necessary modifications and checks that they have been made before authorizing the continuation of the work. Finally, she writes a report outlining all her observations.
