Credit Counseling Agent
Person who, in a financial institution, analyzes and processes credit or loan applications. She meets with clients to determine with them the type and amount of loan or credit suitable for their projects, she collects and analyzes all information relating to their financial situation (income, degree of solvency, repayment capacity, etc.) and complete the required documents. She also takes care of the various procedures and formalities surrounding the approval of requests and monitors transactions. She can be responsible for services intended for a particular clientele (loans to individuals, agricultural loans, commercial loans). She must adequately advise clients based on their needs and their financial situation and ensure that they are well informed about the loan conditions and their repayment obligations if their request is accepted.
