Person in the office of the Prime Minister or another minister who takes responsibility for the communications strategies of the government or of a department, as the case may be. It coordinates media activities and the minister’s interventions, in collaboration with the directorate of the ministry’s communications service or with political advisers. She is also responsible for the dissemination of messages and the sending of press releases to the various media, as well as the organization of cabinet communications in accordance with government and legislative planning.
