Forest Fire Prevention Officer

Person responsible for protecting forests against fires. To this end, he hires staff and assesses them, procures the necessary material and equipment, supervises forest firefighters in their prevention and firefighting activities, ensures that construction sites and sites of stay in forest environment comply with laws, safety standards and fire prevention measures, and acts as a coordinator of multiple fires when the situation requires it. She participates in the development of regional prevention programs and leads information meetings with groups who request them.
