Industrial pharmacist

Person who participates in the research, development, promotion and manufacture of pharmaceutical products within an industry. It collaborates in the formulation of products, the study of the therapeutic and side effects of drugs on the body, the development of industrial manufacturing processes, quality control and clinical trials to test the efficiency and safety of new products. She develops sales strategies, prepares educational material on the use, therapeutic effects and risks associated with taking medications. She can act as a pharmaceutical representative in the medical environment or provide training and management for a team of representatives.
