Land Use Planning Technician
Person who participates in the development and implementation of various development projects for neighborhoods, cities or countryside in order to offer citizens the best possible quality of life in their environment. She participates in the identification of needs, the determination of potentials and constraints, the location of sites and impact studies; she performs technical tasks such as surveying and drawing up maps in connection with the projects; she collects written, cartographic or photographic data relevant to the area studied; she draws up and presents the development sketches relating to the projects. She also inspects roads and buildings, controls the issuance of permits and certificates and applies municipal planning regulations.
