Legal Technician

Person who performs various technical tasks in order to assist a lawyer, notary or other lawyer in the settlement of legal matters. Her duties include researching laws, regulations and case law pertaining to the cases submitted, preparing and analyzing legal documents and participating in certain court hearings. She must prepare the files by gathering all the useful documents and know in detail the information they contain in order to provide effective support to the lawyer.
