Person who sells, replaces and fits ophthalmic or contact lenses (glasses and contact lenses) to people with impaired vision, as prescribed by the optometrist or ophthalmologist. To this end, she advises the client in the choice of a frame taking into account his physiognomy, his tastes and his prescription or recommends him the contact lenses that will best suit his eyes. She explains how to put on, remove, fold, store and maintain his lenses and provides after-sales service. In the laboratory, she mounts the lenses on the frame, adjusts and repairs the frames as needed, replaces broken ophthalmic lenses and can perform administrative tasks related to the management of a business.
