Psychologist
Person who, as an expert in mental mechanisms, development and human behavior, helps people resolve personal difficulties and adjustment problems. Using interview techniques and psychometric tests, she assesses their intellectual capacities, skills and different aspects of their personality and diagnoses behavioral, emotional and cognitive disorders. She then offers psychotherapy during which she leads these people to see more clearly and to modify their ways of thinking and their behavior in order to reduce the discomfort and difficulties of adaptation. She periodically reassesses the objectives to be achieved and readjusts them with them if necessary.
