Public Affairs Officer

Person who, as a member of the armed forces, plans, implements and evaluates public relations programs. She organizes press conferences, interviews and visits, prepares documents or reports in order to inform the electronic media and the mass media about the activities (exercises, operations carried out by the military on the occasion of disasters such as aircraft crashes, floods, fires, etc.) and the programs of the Ministry of Defense She deals with advertising for recruitment, provides audio-visual material to the organizers of exhibitions or demonstrations and intervenes with senior officials on all matters of public interest. She also manages the human, material and financial resources made available to it.
