Research, Survey and Poll Technician
Person who, in collaboration with researchers and specialists in different fields, participates in methodical studies on social, economic or commercial questions, as well as in surveys or opinion polls with a view to understanding human behavior through relationship to different situations (health, work, education, consumption, etc.). She contributes, among other things, to the establishment of research objectives, to the design of instruments (questionnaires, forms, interview diagrams, observation grids, etc.), to the collection and processing of data (statistical analysis and content analysis). She also carries out the documentary research necessary to complete the studies, prepares graphs and tables and writes research reports. She performs a large part of her tasks on the computer, in particular with word processing and statistical calculation software.
