Road Controller

Person whose function is to inspect heavy road vehicles and ensure that they comply with the laws and regulations relating to the transport of people and goods. Its tasks include, among other things, weighing vehicles and checking that they comply with weight, dimension and load securing standards, performing mechanical checks, ensuring that vehicles are properly registered and that drivers have the required license, to issue tickets and to impose fines on drivers at fault. She may be called upon to testify in court and to cooperate with other bodies involved in road transport.
