Robotics Technician

A person who assists in the installation, maintenance, testing and repair of industrially manufactured automated systems such as robots, computer control and command systems and related equipment. She takes care, among other things, of interconnecting equipment, adjusting assembly lines and modernizing systems. She also performs control tests, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure the proper functioning of a robotic assembly line and to predict or correct any possible failure. She must install the equipment according to the engineering plans and ensure the safety of the installations.
